About Management & Entrepreneurship

  • We Mean Business: The management pathway focuses on various forms of business ownership, management functions,financing, and promotion as they relate to business. Students study the aspects of marketing and managing a smallbusiness enterprise; risk management; the use of technology; as well as legal, ethical, and social obligations of businesses.
  • Get Hands-on: Work in groups to learn how to create promotional content, design product descriptions, and utilize digital marketing strategies to help businesses thrive
  • Dream Big: This class can help you prepare for a wide range of business careers, such as: financial advisor, marketing manager, entrepreneur/business owner, data analyst, social media manager, event planner, project manager, or even becoming a CEO!

Work for the School Store

A store display showcases various merchandise, including t-shirts and mugs.

Students have the opportunity to work for "The Nest" once they have completed their level 1, 2, and 3 courses in the Marketing pathway. Students help design, create, and sell apparel and other merchandise. They also get an in-depth look at the retail industry by helping with all aspects from store set-up to the customer service experience. This is a great resume builder and an opportunity for students interested in pursuing a career in business to get a head start!
